To be able to access the library, all visitors need to bring their valid and activated LU-Card.
Please note that for the Wijnhaven building some additional access regulations apply.
- 80 study places without computer
- 40 computer study places
- 4 group study rooms
Study places without computer can be used freely by all library account and LU-Card holders, outside of exam periods.
Computer workplaces are available for use by Leiden University students only, and need to be booked in advance. Several computers - marked with a white sticker - will be available for use by other visitors.
Wijnhaven Library group rooms are available to Leiden University students only, and can be booked at the Wijnhaven building reception desk.
During exam periods, some access restrictions apply.
Study places will be available to Leiden University students only, and will all need to be booked in advance. Some study places - marked with a white sticker - will be freely available for library visitors to whom the access restrictions do not apply.

Copiers and printers can be found throughout the Wijnhaven building. Your LU-Card doubles as print and copycard.
