News service Factiva cancelled as of 2024
As of December 31, access to international news service Factiva will be discontinued. Leiden University Libraries offers Nexis Uni as an alternative. Nexis Uni is currently available through the catalogue.
The platforms are similar in scope but Nexis Uni has the following benefits when compared to Factiva:
- A wider coverage of international sources
- A more intuitive interface
- A better performing search engin
