The specialisation combines one year of Computer Science research (60 – 80 EC) with one year of science communication courses, internships and research (40-60 EC).

The BPS and Science Communication and Society specialisation consists of 120 European Credit Transfer System (EC) points and consists of a BPS component (60 - 80 EC) and a science communication component (40 - 60 EC).

This programme aims to make the digitized archival sources of the Kerala and Tamil Nadu Archives more accessible to Indian and international scholars and to the widest possible audience, in particular to the people of Kerala.
